fairtrade clergy shirts
who says blogging can't change the world? (well OK, that' s a teeny bit of an exaggeration, but...)
I blogged here a while back mentioning that it was nigh on impossible to find clergy shirts that were fairly traded. Rev'd Simon Butler has just informed me that he has set up just the thing. Go here to check them out.

Hiya Maggie, my friends over at HR Dennes, who make Reliant clergy shirts are also working very hard at getting a fully ethical supply chain in place, although I think they'll struggle to get a fair trade label, because of the amount of shirts they produce. Their factories are properly audited though, and they are well worth considering. Cheers,
Simon

Good link. Thanks. Although since I only dust down my clerical shirt about once a year my current one will NEVER wear out...

Good luck to Rev'd Simon Butler and we will be supplying his Fair Trade clerical shirts from November 2008.

Maggie, thanks for this, they're a great idea. I will put the word around and put a link on my blog.
God Bless

Those clergy need to be playing with Fair Trade soccer balls, too! Order from our sister company in the UK, or us in North America...

As a non-traditional, non-denominational bishop, looking for clergy shirts is a task. I would like to find Friar shirts in multiple colors other than the standard. I want to be able to wear them with a variety of suits.
Does anyone know of a site I should check out?
