This is - at the latest estimate - where I shall be during Greenbelt. I'm doing 2 talks - one on liturgy and worship, and one on "Relevance - the relationship between Church and Culture. "
Friday 6pm first of my two talks (which disappeared into techno-space recently)
Saturday 2pm The Post Evangelical at Ten - a discussion of the issues raised ten years ago by Dave Tomlinson in his now quite famous book. I wrote one of the replies in the Post Evangelical Debate in 1997. SHould be an interesting discussion
Saturday or Sunday evening - late night discussion with Steve Foster on Sex, Church, and other things.
Sunday at 3 pm in Cedar Panel discussion on BLogging, with (among others) Kester, Dave of Cartoon Blog fame, and the inimitable John Davies.
Monday at 2.pm my second talk. Hopefully still ON the computer as I write...
At all other times I shall be either drinking tea and nattering in the Tiny Tea Tent, off listening to someone who knows more than I do, or away from the site taking my boy swimming or some such. Or drinking beer with Good In Parts and Serena's Scribblings, of course...
Hope to see some of you there

good Christians don't turn green with envy, ... sigh!
be blessed :)

Maggi - definitely hope to see you there. You sound like you've involved in lots of interesting topics and debates.

No, won't see you there I'm afraid, but I hope the talks go well. (Sure they will.)

Any idea of the venue for Post Evang. @ 10?

We're hoping to be there on the Monday.

Hopefully I will get to see/listen too...

Looking forward to meeting up Maggi, to our panel, and to hearing you explain precisely what you mean by 'inimitable'...!!!

I shall be there... although I shall probably arrive too late friday and leave too early sunday to catch those two, i shall check ou the post-evangelical one at least (especially as finding a copy of the book you participated in for a price that isn't absurd has proven, as yet, impossible).
I will, of course, be trying to change the times of my train tickets for Monday...

Dave's session went well. Like you Post-Evangelical still seems a valid concept. Enjoyed your input and a brief chat.

MD- sorry to miss you at Greenbelt, perhaps next year in Battle Creek? As always, enjoying your blog and your wisdom from the journey.

Only the two listed? You were at pretty much every panel discussion I turned to! Call yourself ubiquitous ;P

Maggi, I didn't go to Greenbelt so didn't see you there, but looked forward to hearing about it here. I hope you are OK, as you haven't been here for a long time.

thnks, Dayzee! - as you can see above, I've been a) squeezing out the last few days of summer, and b) cleaning Spam and Trolls off the site... normal blogging should be resumed soon!
