Every now and then I read a re-telling of the gospel in some contemporary setting that really grabs the imagination; takes the over-familiar and highlights something of the truth of the story by the fresh telling. Today I read the woman at the well (John 4) re-told as "jesus talks to a gay man" - find it here.
