Colin Gunton
One of my favourite people to pass an evening with at a conference was Colin Gunton. He was clever, thoughtful, funny, mischievous, enjoyed a glass of good red wine, played the violin better than he would admit, knew a good bit about Coleridge, and was unfailingly gracious. I miss him.
Nice to see Andy Goodliff giving Gunton's work some thought here and here.
one of his students is teaching here in Malaysia. And from what I've heard ... he is indeed missed.

Colin's writing on the Trinity and on the Atonement have both been hugely important in my journey and formation... and he came from just down the road from where I now minister in South Essex!
A great theologian, sadly missed.

Colin was my PhD supervisor 1986-1992. I miss him very much.
